We had our first opportunity to let Caleb get the pool for the first time. I was so excited for him to wear his cool dinosaur bathing suit with matching hat. They were both huge on him, but that made it even cuter. Unfortunately, by the time we got in the water he was a bit too sleepy and the water was a bit too chilly. He had a great time clinging to me for dear life, but then the cold water got to him. We stayed in for a total of about five minutes. The rest of the time, he was wrapped up in the towel on Mommy’s lap watching Daddy play Marco Polo with all the other family members.

Thankfully, the pools in Arizona will get to bathtub temperature in just a few weeks. I think he’ll like that better.
